Martian Press was established in 2015 after Gage’s graduation from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. The press relocated to Los Angeles in 2017, first operating from Gage’s apartment and later from a studio in the Toy District of Downtown Los Angeles. In 2019, Gage presented the press at the North American Risograph Conference in Chicago.
In 2023, after earning an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts, Gage moved Martian Press to its current studio in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.
