| [[Strange and Unusual Design]] is the studio of Karina Richardson, a Los Angeles–based tattoo artist, designer, educator, and printmaker. She is known for her colorful, playful approach to art and her work with Risograph printing. | |

| Richardson earned a degree in Communication Design and Illustration from Pratt Institute. She is a certified Risograph technician and incorporates the process extensively in her practice, producing layered, handmade designs that emphasize bold colors. In addition to Risograph, she also works with silkscreen and cyanotype printing.
