Silly Gooze Editions isn’t neutral. Dylan Fox and Billy Hawes built it from lived queer grit: discrimination survived, kinship chosen, norms challenged. So our promise is this, print is never just ink on paper. It’s survival, mischief, belonging, and bite.

We are an artist-led Risograph print studio and artist book makers:

Our name tips the hat to the old printmakers’ feast days, known as a Wayzegoose! these wild late-summer gatherings where printers ate, played, and printed keepsakes before the long candlelit season began. Food, laughter, ink on fingers. We carry that spirit: printing as celebration, commons as feast.

Our gooze is kin to the queer meme goose “be gay, do crime” born in activist spaces, beak wide open and rules be damned. At Silly Gooze, the goose wields a pallet knife: playful, disruptive, protective. It reminds us to make print that refuses to be tamed.

Silly Gooze Editions isn’t neutral. Dylan Fox and Billy Hawes built it from lived queer grit: discrimination survived, kinship chosen, norms challenged. So our promise is this, print is never just ink on paper. It’s survival, mischief, belonging, and bite.
