Studio Misprint

Studio Misprint is my small but colorful risoprint studio based in Utrecht. I’m Ellis Tolsma, an illustrator, visual artist, and big fan of bold shapes, bright colors, and happy mistakes. I started Studio Misprint to share the magic of risograph printing with others, and to create a space where creativity can feel fun, free, and a little bit messy (in the best way).

At the studio, you can join fun and cosy riso workshops and creative courses. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon full of inky fingers, color experiments, and making things just for the joy of it. Whether you’ve never heard of risoprinting or you’re already in love with the process, there’s always something new to try, learn, or mess up beautifully.

On the website, you’ll also find a growing collection of original risoprints, zines, postcards, and playful collaborations, all printed with care on my own risograph. Everything is made in small batches, with a lot of heart (and a bit of ink smudge here and there).
